Chat invitation box upgraded

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

To encourage our customers to invite their visitors to a chat session more often, we decided to upgrade the chat invitation box of Citricle Live Support.
It’s that box that show’s up to your visitors when you (the operator) send chat invitations to them.

It no longer darkens the whole page when an invitation is received, but instead it pops up in the middle of the page and it will stay in the middle even if you scroll down the page.
With an elegant fading and effect and a transparency that would make Microsoft’s AeroGlass jealous (just kidding), this upgrade will make the box more visible than before while allowing your visitors to keep reading the content of the page.

We hope you like it. Here’s a screenshot below:

New Live Support feature: Advanced Chat History

Monday, January 19th, 2009

It’s always good to keep track of history, that’s why Citricle Live Support always remembers every chat conversation you ever had with any of your visitors.

However  Jonathan S, owner of Hometown Fashions noticed that there’s no way to view the previous chat conversations unless that visitor goes back to the website again. He suggested creating a module that will allow our customers to search for chat transcripts using the date and keyword as a criteria.

Today we are glad to announce our new feature called Advanced Chat History that does exactly what Jonathan wanted.

Here is how to use it:

  1. Login to your Citricle Customer Center using the information you received when you signed up with us.
  2. On the left side click “Chat History”.
  3. Select a date interval.
  4. Optionally, enter a keyword.
  5. Click “Filter”.

You will get a list containing all the information that matched your selected criteria.
