Citricle Ping continually pings a specified host and lets you know if the request is successful or not. Here's how it works:
- Write the address of the host you want to ping in the "host" field and you hit the start button.
- Citricle Ping will immediately start pinging that host.
- Clicking on the "Alert me" button to decide when it should play an alert sound ("on success" and/or "on error"). That way you can use it to know when your Internet was disconnected or when it was connected back, or you could use it to check the uptime of a remote server and save the log as a report.
That's it!

You can, but Windows Ping will not give you a sound alert depending on the ping response. It will not go to system tray and it won't allow you to save the logs to text files.
