Citricle Ping keeps on pinging a specified host and lets you know if the request is sucessful or not.
You write the adress of the host you want to ping in the "host" field and you hit the start button.Once you did that, Citricle Ping is going to start pinging that host.By clicking the "Alert me" button you can decide when it should play an alert sound ("on success" or/and "on error").
That way you can use it to know when your Internet was disconnected or when it was connected back.Or you could use it to check the uptime of a remote server and save the log as a report.

- What is Citricle Ping?
Citricle Ping is an alternative to Windows Ping.
- Why can't I just use the Windows Ping?
Sure you can use it if that's what you want, but it will not give you a sound alert depending on the ping response. It will not go to system tray, making it a little uncomfortable to let it run in the background. Also it wouldn't allow you to save the log to text files.
